Glenn's Story
After graduating from PV High I attended Harbor JC, El Camino CC, UC Santa Barbara, and Johns Hopkins University where I received a PhD degree in Geochemistry. I’m retired now after a rewarding career in research at a major oil company. These days I pursue my interests in alpine mountaineering, backpacking, snowboarding, and baking bread. cooking in our wood-fired oven. We also like going to hear live music which, for me, brings back memories of growing up in PV close to so many great music venues in the LA area. Something else that brings me back to that time, while I’ve visited mountains ranges from Alaska to South America, my favorite is California's Sierra Nevada where I first went when I was a sophomore at PV High and where I return every year.
