Glenn's Story
After high school, I hitch hiked across country, In July '74 I enlisted in the Army Airborne Infantry (82nd Airborne). After 4 years of being cold and wet, I separated active duty and went to warm and dry New Mexico Tech where I earned degrees in Petroleum Engineering (84) and Chemical Engineering (87).

at I kicked around the oilfield (Prudhoe Bay Alaska, Texas, Oklahoma City, Farmington NM, and Liberal Kansas before reentering the Army as an Officer. I served in Desert Storm with the 24th Infantry Division out of Ft. Stewart, GA, and served in Command at Ft. Hood Texas before again leaving the Army. I became a Federal/State Certified Financial Advisor, and started a business as a CFA in warm and dry El Paso Texas.
In 2005, I was recalled to active duty and served two tours as a special operations team leader in Iraq. After returning, I finally stuck it out and retired from active duty, and then earned my Texas teacher's certificate. I am currently a math teacher at Coronado High School here in El Paso, TX. I have been married to Tammy for 35+ years and have two boys Aaron (31) and Joshua (26).
Aaron is in his forth year as a Geography PhD Student at UCONN and should be graduating in June. Joshua graduated near the top of his class with a CyberSecurity Degree from UT San Antonio and is now an Army CyberSecurity Captain serving with the 101st Abn..
I look back and think how truly blessed by God I have been. Don't blink.
