Glenn's Story
After graduating from NNHS, went to Va. Tech for a year and after partying too much dropped out. Joined the USMC reserves and after returning from training married Joyce Linhart (class of 1969). Worked a variety of jobs in grocery, veternary assistant and eventually returned to VT to finish BS and MS in 1981. Moved to Nebraska in 1981 to start a Ph.D. program in genetics and completed that in 1985. Joined Northrup King and moved to Mt. Joy, PA as a corn breeder. is. Loved the PA area but was transferred to Greenville, OH in 1994. Around 2004 was transferrred to Fort Wayne, IN. Just retired this month. Joyce and I raised 2 boys and adopted a young girl out of foster care who is currently 10 years old. Didn't exactly prepare myself for being a parent of a 10 year old in retirement but I guess what doesn't kill you keeps you young! Had a number of great danes over the years and many cats. Enjoy garndening and started beekeeping about 10 years ago and has become my major hobby.
