Glenn's Story
Welcome. A brief history goes like this; I had a daughter 1/23/69 at age 20, Married at 24(not to daughters mother), divorced at 27, never remarried, gained custody of a friend's daughter in 1990, and raised her as my own. Difficult chore as she was 16 when she came to me. I worked as a tool and die maker/machinist for about 10 years, worked as an emergency leak sealing technician (oil refineries, generating stations, nuclear generating stations, worked as a mechanic for Blair's Speed Shop,MTA, and finally retired from City of Burbank as...Expand for more
a heavy equip mechanic. In 1995, I had both kidneys fail, and started 11 !/2 years of dialysis. In 2002, my liver started failing (I've never drank), and finally on 2/9/07, I recieved a new kidney and a new liver from a very unfortunate 19 year old. I an once again healthy and living in "old town" Monrovia, Calif., and doing whatever I can to enjoy life. I've traveled the western hemisphere and still like it here where I consider my home to be, San Gabriel Valley. If any old friends would like to drop a line or two, I will gladly answer.
