Glenn's Story
After Graduating GC North High School, I went to SIU Edwardsville and got a BS degree in Biological Sciences. I spent about 4 years working as a firefighter/paramedic in the Metro-East area. In 1985 I was hired by the Illinois State Police as a Forensic Scientist. I did 2 years in Joliet (as a trainee, not a parolee) and then tranferred to the State Police Crime Lab in Carbondale at the end of 1986. In 2000, I testified in the murder trial of the "Railroad Killer" in Houston, TX. In 2007-2008 I was president of the largest regional forensic association in the country. I have been on episodes of "Forensic Files" and "Cold Case Files" the last couple of years, if you ever watch those shows. In October 2008 I auditioned for a Steven Spielberg film, "EagleEye", because they were looking for "real" forensic scientist to play a small role in the movie. I played drums in a few classic rock and blues bands in the Carbondale area when I moved there, but gave it up for a while. In 2006 I started playing with a new band called Storm Limit (formerly The Limit). We mostly do 70's, 80's and 90's rock and pop. You can check us out at myspace/thelimit912 .
For fun, I like to play volleyball and do storm chasing. I have taken trips to Texas and Oklahoma to chase the big tornadoes, but sometimes I don't have to go too far to catch the big ones.
I have one daughter, Amanda, who graduated from SIU Carbondale in August 2009. She made Dean's list her last semester!
I just got married again in July 2009, to my lovely lady Tracy. We are living in Carbondale.
