I am not sure how I'm remembered, but I bet that I'm a complete opposite of the person my classmates would think I became in my adult life. I went back to school when I was 35 and earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Ohio State University. I got a job teaching in North Carolina and have been here for 4 years. I teach World History. I coached the Bowling team:-)I always complained that Social Studies teachers were coaches and I said I didn't want to coach. I just wanted to teach the content. It's better to never complain because, after my first year, I became a coach. Does anyone remember Coach Brubaugh? He was one of the teachers I most liked at Jackson. I don't think I teach like him, but I think it's a funny comparison. I have one child. My son is 17 and a junior in high school. He is nothing like I was as a high school student! He's a trumpet player in the band, an excellent bowler, and an honor student. I am so proud of him. ...Expand for more
