Gloria's Story
College
I started in nursing in Nevada but then we moved to Tennessee and I switched majors. I graduated with two degrees...an AS in Land Reclamation and an AA in Social Science. I never worked in either major because I really never worked. I attended community college "for fun" and have accumulated more than enough credits for a BS...just never transferred to a "grown up" college. (mainly because I didn't want to take the higher math required for the major (environmental science) I was interested in)
I married in July of 1959 and have 4 s...Expand for more
ons and 8 grandchildren (the oldest of which is now a freshman in college).
I am now living in Washington state where my husband works on the clean up issues on the Hanford Site. He has also worked on other sites connected to the building of the atom bomb back in the '40s.
I spend my time training, grooming and just playing with my dogs. I have 4 mastiffs. Only the 3 boys live with me...my girl lives with my best friend...we co-own her. She will be bred this summer and hopefully give me another boy to add to the group here at my house.
