Gloria's Story
Life
I married in 1971 and divorced 13 years later. During some of those years I lived in New York but longed for home and moved back to Englewood.
I am a grandmother of one beautiful girl and most recently became a grand-aunt, also a beautiful girl.
I worked for verizon for a very long time but took a buyout in 2003. I used the money to go to school to fulfill a life long dream. I earned a degree in education.
Sadly, both of my parents have passed away and that has left a real void in my soul, but life does go on.

rked for an insurance company,a supermarket and of course Ma Bell. In the phone company I wore many hats. I did payroll, production, dispatching, ordering and tech support.
The tech support position was my favorite and it was also one of the highest vocational positions in the company.
After leaving Verizon I attended MOntclair State U. I graduated and joined the faculty at Dwight Morrow. That only lasted for one year. Next I went to a district in Essex County, where I am still employed teaching niinth graders English. THis is the best profession ever!
