Gloria's Story
I have three children from my 1st marriage. 2 sons, 1 daughter. My present husband Darrell, a Lake Stevens boy!; on the football field he was known as the Savage! It took an Everett High Girl, to finally tame him. He has 1 daughter. We have 5 grandchildren & 1 gr. grand dtr. & 1 on the way. Darrell is an avid hunter & fisherman & has introduced me to the wonderful world of the great outdoors and wonderful camping adventures. With our advancing maturity, we much prefer a classy motel and to visit the youngsters at their campsites.
My passions are scrap booking, family photos, family genealogy, old family photos, old family stories, (Some in the family call me the family historian!)gardening, and home inprovements, but some how our home projects have been pushed to the 20 year plan. e attending a reunion, Memorial weekend at Bonaparte Lake Resort just out of Tonasket, Wa. When they advertise Rustic it is a gross under statement. Running water in the room is running if you run out to the corner spiket to get it! But it is beautiful, restful & a whole lot of good family fun! Cousins, playing & signing 4 days, Rock & Roll & Old Hymns. I call us the Saints & the Sinners! End of June we fly to Alaska for 11 days. My 1st trip. We are very excited to visit friends who are making Palmer, AK. their home. Hope to do some sight seeing, especially Denali Park & of course some fishing.
Darrell & I did go to Alaska in July. Our Dtr. married, Fri. June 27, we flew out Sat.june 28, 6:00 A.M. What a wonderful grand adventure we had. It is beautiful, incredible country; a very nice place to visit. As always, it was fun to go but we were very glad to be home.
