Gloria's Story

Hello ! You probably dont remember me, as I was not in any click...but my best friend was Beverly Dyer. If you saw her, you saw me! She is still my best friend. After graduating, I went to work at Wolfe's Manufacturing in Waco, and in 1971 I met the love of my life. He was stationed at Ft. Hood, and was from Maine. I knew I was going to marry him right away. And 4 months later we did marry. He made Tx his home and gave up the beauty of Maine. We lived in Waco a couple of years, and then to Dallas, and lived there until we were expecting our second daughter. Then we moved to the country near ...Expand for more
the little town I grew up in. Later we bought a few acres and made Thorndale our home. We were married almost 32 years when I lost my love to cancer on June 21, 2003. Since then my daughter and grandchildren fill my life. I wish I had an annual to look thru, so many names I have forgotten... I do remember Jimmy Ortega as being one of the nicest guys and so talented in art...Ruby Quinonez was so beautiful..that I remember..I just wish I could see pics, that I'm sure woudld prompt my memory. Hope you are doing well, and let me hear from you if you remember me. Have a blessed day Gloria Hodge
