on or Neville (her two ITA certified dogs) visit three hospitals per week, visiting patients, their family members and the hospital staff. Music she likes includes country music and classic 40s, 50s and Broadway music. She is also interested in genealogical research. One of Gloria's favorite quotes is:"Beer would taste better if they just left it in the horse. Mark Twain (paraphrased)."
During her working life she was a geologist for the USGS and a Ranger (both interpretive and law enforcement) for the National Park Service. She also worked for the U.S. Ski Team for 3 years and for Snowbird Ski Resort in Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT.
Neville has now gone to Vernal, UT, to live with Drew Shull, one of my 2 grandsons and his four children. Dyson will be leaving in February 2015, to attend Advanced Training at the SW Regional Office of CCI in Oceanside, CA. If he passes the 6 mos. of intensive training, in August 2015 he will be given, free of charge, to a person with many challenges, perhaps an autistic child or a wounded warrior from Iraq or Afganistan, or someone with a debilitating disease like muscular distrophy or cerebral palsy.
