As a mother, I wanted to teach my kids everything I know, so they can be wiser than I was. Now, I learn from them. I believe that daily hugs, laughter, and smiles keep us healthy ...Expand for more
and that two wrongs don't make a right. Animals make me smile and I enjoy when dogs retrieve balls and know to drop them. I love sitting on a quiet, white sand beach in the Caribbean, as much as walking the streets of NY and eating a slice of pizza, a pretzel, or a hotdog, before heading to a steak house and a show.
I am in awe of the world and love traveling. Each country amazes me, even on return visits. The first thing I notice is the architecture. Then the people and the art, lures me in. As a fussy NY eater, I am leery of food. I do not like to eat ‘fresh’ chickens that I just saw running around; nor expect to eat Chinese food in China!
In every country, the people may look different or eat different foods, but they are like you and me. They want peace, food and a decent place to live. I pray for my children, yours, and their children, that the worlds’ economic crisis does not contaminate our minds to look for scapegoats. I pray that our representatives create solid programs to secure our lives and contain evil, so that all people will know peace.".
