Gloria's Story
After I graduated from GCCI I went to Teacher's College at U of M. I got married the summer I graduated and taught school for a year in Selkirk. I then moved to Thompson where I had my two sons before moving back to Winnipeg. After my daughteer was born I went to U of W to work on my BA.
Because my husband died, I went back to teaching part time while going to univerity at night. After 2 years I remarried and moved to Brandon and then to Victoria where I comp...Expand for more
leted my BA and later my MA. I've been teaching here for 24 years.
I'm in a choir, a book club and a knitting group. I go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week, go for long walks and when it's not raining I ride my bike with friends. I have travelled quite a lot and plan to do so again when I retire.....I plan to do that in 5 years...still love my job.
I have a lot of grandchildren whom I enjoy immensely. Some of them live here but most live in Manitoba or Alberta.
