Life
I was probably so shy back it would have been an effort to speak up! Times change ...
I did some professional theatre work, before taking a BA at UBC in Vancouver in English and then journalism at Ryerson.
Then I went for a working holiday in Britain, met a journalist in the BBC radio newsroom in London - and off and on I've lived here over the past 20 years, now in a stone house that's over 250 years old in the Yorkshire Dales area where they d...Expand for more
id the vet stories (seen it on PBS ever?). We have a son, 17 and a daughter of 12, and I've got into tabloid headline-writing working on a rather gritty paper in northern England. Too much talk, too much info - you know journalists! I can still sing the Parkdale School Song - and my favourite moment was being on Reach for the Top a few times. The worst was being yelled at by that wanker, vice-principal Jack King.
