Gloria's Story
Okay, folks are asking for my story. I got married about a year after high school to my high school sweet-heart ( Joe Thomas). Many of you East High people didn't know him. We went together all through junior high at Franklin.
I was a Columbus Police Officer for 3 1/2 years. Loved the job. Hated the politics.
Had 3 children. Came home to raise my children. Loved every minute of it. Was a stay at home mom. Felt very fortunate to be able to do that.. I think it paid off base on how my children turned out. (Proud mom, can you tell? )
Joe and I lived in Michigan for about 11 years (4 yrs the firs...Expand for more
t time and 7 this last time), in Toledo for 3 years and in Columbus the rest of the time. We have moved 5 times and have loved making a new home wherever we have been. We find that people are people wherever we go. Now we are here in Columbus as Joe retired from Delphi last August.
We have businesses that we work from home and are looking forward to spending time with family and friends, traveling and whatever else the Lord says.
The 3 children have grown into 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. We are glad to be young enough to enjoy them all.
