Gloria's Story
Well,
I've been very fortunate in life. I owned a successful staffing co. I experienced a "speed bump" in the road of life. After being on The Pill for several years a month after turning 40. I had a blood clot go to my brain which is a stroke, all caused by the hormones in the pill. Unfortunately, I'm one of many many women who've suffered this side effect. I've worked really hard at therapy and have recovered very well. Yet, I will never be like I was before...I'vemade it my...Expand for more
mission to let women know of these side effects they're unfortunately more common than presented to the public.I've met many women who haven't recoverd as well as I have. But through all this, I have an incredible blessing of meeting & marrying my wonderful husband who accepts all my limitations, and getting to spend the rest of my life in beautiful southern Oregon! Plus I get to volunteer at the local humane society shelter & make the lives of the discarded animals better....
