Gloria's Story
After Nogales H.S., I attended Pepperdine University and graduated in 1980 with a B.A. in Communications.
My life so far has been a bit of a fairy tale. I've been married for almost 20 years to a wonderful man. We enjoy food, wine & travel and have done plenty of all of these. We have traveled to Europe 3 times and hope to return next year.
My career has been mostly in Marketing & Communications and I have been lucky to work for some great companies that have provided incredible experiences. I worked for Seagrams in the 1980's, owned my own business from 1987 to 1991 when I sold my business to move to Arizona to be with my now husband Gary Thurmes.

Promotions Manager. After a couple of short stints with advertising agencies, I landed a job at Coca-Cola. This was an amazing job and my responsibilities included working with various sports teams in Arizona (for a short time Colorad) and New Mexico. I then went on to work for Cingular Wireless which was then turned into AT&T. I really enjoyed my team at AT&T. For the last two years (until Dec.), I was the Director of Marketing & Communications for Arizona Summit Law School. I hope to start my own business again but currently I'm seeking full time employement in Marketing.
My husband and I live in Arizona and enjoy it most of the year. We try to travel as much as we can during the summer so we can get out of the heat.
