Gloria's Story
I left Indiana in 1972 and went to Tennessee to be with the family that I lost as a child, when my mother passed away. I was adopted at that time, and lost all contact with my birth family. When I turned 18 I left home and went to spend time with them, to get to know them. During that time, I met my oldest daughter's father....
When Stacey was 9 months old, we left Tennessee, and moved to Missouri where my adoptive parents were living. It was there that I met the man who would become my husband. We were married in July of 1975, and we were together for 16 years. We had two children together, Nancy and James. ve been in this area for the last 19 - 20 years. I have worked in many different jobs over the years, but most of my work consisted of working with the elderly, and the handicapped. I am now disabled, and unable to hold a full time job, but I keep busy with all the grandchildren that my kids have given me. I have 9 beautiful grandchildren....4 girls, and 5 boys ages 3 months to 18 yrs old. I am about to be a great-grandma for the first time! Update: July 11, 2018... I have been blessed with 4 great grandchildren, two boys and two girls and I have two more great-grandchildren on the way. We are expecting our little girl in August, and another little boy in November. My family keeps growing.
