Gloria's Story
Life
I don't know why but I signed up as Gloria Trevino when I was Gloria Delgado in high school. I am Alonzo's sister.
I actually just now have time to do this. So much has happened since high school. I attended Henderson County Jr. College and graduated from Texas A&I University in 1971. Taught at Alice High School from 1971 to 2003. Yep, I worked all my years at Alice High School. Married a wonderful guy in 1972 and had my children in 73,74, and 76. We had two girls and a boy. My oldest is a flight attendant with Continental and yes!! she is still flying. The middle child, as she likes to call herself, works with the UT Health Science Center San Antonio. The boy is a Texas A&M graduate and after working for the University of Houston for 4 or 5 years, he is now working for Allstate. I am a grandmother of 4, a girl ...Mia is 5 yrs. old... the middle child married a young man who has a little girl, Kirsten and she is 11...she also has a boy, Diego and he is 3.......my so...Expand for more
n has a little girl Ava....and she is now 10 months. My husband passed away in March 2004 after a battle with cancer and because of that I retired in 2003. I am really enjoying my retirement and if you haven't retired you should!!!! I'll post pictures of my family next time and get in touch.
I guess I can now add to this story. It's 2012 and so much has happened since this last posting. My children are older and so am I and the grandchildren are still growing like weeds. Mia is 10, Kristen is 16, Diego is 7 and Ava is 4 soon to be 5. I'm getting older but it's nice to know that Alonzo, my brother, is still older...ha, ha. I met up with an old friend...known each other since Jr. High and hadn't seen each other for 30 + yrs. We have since built a house and moved in about 3 years ago. Life is fun again!!! We live in Coupus Christi, TX. If you're ever around just look us up...Alonzo also moved to CC and is now a grandfather....really happy about that. I'll post later....
