EDUCATION: BA 1961, Mt.St. Joseph College, Cincinnati, OH (chemistry and math) MA 1996, Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, CA (Organization Development) PhD 2005, Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, CA. (Human Development) LIFE: --Graduated 1956 from THS, Trinidad, CO. --Entered the Sisters of Charity (SC) of Cincinnati (OH) and earned my BA at their college in Ohio. --Taught math & science at Cathedral High School in downtown Denver (1961-1968), and at Trinidad (Colorad) Catholic High School (1968-1969). --In 19...Expand for more
69, I left the religious community and went to Los Alamos, NM, where I taught chemistry for the next 10 years at Los Alamos High School. --In 1979, I left the classroom to work at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) for the next 20 years in Human Resource (HR) Division in Training & Development Group and AA/EEO and in Public Affairs. --I retired from LANL in May 1999 and earned my PhD in 2005. Married for the first time in 2005. --Loving having a god-daughter who is the granddaughter of my first cousin, Anita Zehna Thompson (deceased 2006)

Daily weekday protocol of chemo (wearing the pump) finishes at the end of this week and only 5 more days of radiation

My two nurses and I today on my last day of wearing the chemo pump!  I feel like cheering "free at last." I get 3 weeks off and then return to a series  of 3 once-a-week chemo infusions.
