Gordon's Story
OK Here we go,
I graduated from Enfield High School 1993. I went to Porter and Chester for Computers and graduated 1995. Right out of school, with the assistance of the school, I got my first big boy job working for Commercial Scale Company out of Agawam, MA working on, calibrating, testing and interfacing all types of scales form gram to truck. Also in 1995, I moved from Granby, CT (living in mom's basement LOL)to Westfield, MA (My first apartment) to cut my commute to work and get out on my own. September 8, 1995 was my first date with Michelle, she moved in by Mid October (So much for getting out on my own LOL), I proposed New years Eve 95/96 (She said yes), we moved into our town house apartment (in the same complex I was already in) mid 96. I left CSC and started with IBM (out of Windsor, CT) as a Customer Engineer towards the end of 1996. Michelle and I were married on 6/7/1997, we moved into our first house (Windsor Locks, CT) right after the honeymoon. all at all hours and having to go from one end of the state to the other to rescue a server for a 24/7 company. In July of 2000 I started working in the I.S. department at Mohegan Sun (in Uncasville, CT). At the beginning of 2001 We started building our new house in Colchester, CT. We moved to Colchester in October that same year. an over an hour commute one way was quickly turned into a 25 minute drive and Michelle maintained her 30 minutes to Hartford. With a lot of hard work and dedication, in January of 2004 I accepted a position as an I.S. Support Services Manager at Mohegan Sun. On October 29, 2004 my son Aiden Michael Gyngell was born, on June 7, 2007 Michelle and I celebrated out 10th wedding anniversary and on August 1, 2008 my daughter Emma Rose Gyngell was born. This month I celebrate my 5th year of management at Mohegan Sun and this July my 9th year working at Mohegan Sun. Obviously, a lot of things have happened in between but this has been the last 16 years in a nutshell. I hope everyone that reads this is happy and healthy as well.
