Gordon's Story
How do you capture nearly 50 years of history in a few words.
After FHS, I went off to West Point for 4 challenging years and then spent 15 years in the Army with tours in armor units in Germany, Vietnam, and Fort Riley, KS. I spent 4 years teaching ROTC at Seattle University and then got stationed at Fort Dix, NJ while I finished up my doctorate at Rutgers.
After graduating from Rutgers, I taught there for 4 years until I got tired of starving and accepted an offer to joing the technical training division at a new company called Bellcore ...Expand for more
that formed from the breakup of AT&T. I spent 20 years in corporate education and training at Bellcore (aka Telcordia) and then Booz Allen Hamilton before retiring in 2007.
I have three sons and a granddaughter living all over the country. Since I've retired, I've been traveling around the country seeing all the sights, playing a lot of golf, and visiting friends and family who are scattered around the country.
I'm hoping to make it back to the 50th reunion, so if anyone has any information about that, I'd love to hear from you.
