Life
Hi everybody. I hope you all are doing well. I had an excellent time at the 30-year high school reunion in October. Thanks to all those who helped organize it. It was great to see everyone who showed up. For those of you don't know, I'm living in Tallahassee and have for 22 years and life is good (most of the time, we all have problems, it's just how we deal with them). I moved here to go to law school in 1985 and started working for the state of Florida as an attorney in 1989. I'm still working at the same place, the Unemployment Appeals Commission, where I review unemployment hearing officers' hearings and decisions and hear interesting stories about people becoming unemp...Expand for more
loyed and trying to get benefits. It's typical of a lot of state jobs, doesn't pay a lot, but has great benefits and regular hours, which works well with my disability. Still single, never married and no kids, but that's all right. Still having fun going out occasionally (I slowed down a lot in middle age) and having a few beers and going to the college games, especially football. I'm a big Florida State fan of course.
Have you been by Forest Hill lately? It's completely different in case you didn't know (just like West Palm Beach). They completely rebuilt it and of course, the demographics have completely changed. However, we still have a lot of great memories. Take care, GP
