Gordon's Story
Life
I was married in 1989 and am still married to the same girl. We have two boys that are 11 and 13. My parents live in the Bay area of CA and my inlaws live in Sacramento area of CA. I lost my last grandparent this year (2007). I am still in great health - fit/trim, a little grey - and active in many things. I spend some of my free time (13th year) volunteering in our towns Volunteer In Police Service (VIPS) program as a supervisor in the Traffic/Disaster unit. I get to drive police cars as needed and my personal vehicle is outfitted with emergency lighting to include everything except a siren. usic - mainly drums and can still play my trumpet - and active in our church.
My 11 year old is active in sports and my 13 year old is active in music. Both of my boys do very well in school.
Workplace
I am currently self employed. I have been working my Landscape Maintenance business for over 10 years here in the foothills of Northern CA. Prior to that I worked at Fleetwood RV as a computer draftsman in the Product Development department. I also worked for a Police departmant as a Police/Fire dispatcher. Since high school between 1981 and 1996 my primary work has included working in banking, environmental consulting/draftsman in the metal finishing/semi-conductor industry, and sales/marketing in the laser printer industry.
