Gordon's Story
Got out of High School and went to a little college in western Ohio. Couldn't afford it, so moves to the state school in Akron.
Chose Enginering because I didn't know what I wanted to do. (but I'm recovering).
Married after dating a wonderful girl for 5 or 6 years.
Graduated and went to the Mistake on the Lake - chose utilities cause I didn't know what to do.
Went skiing in Steamboat, saw a powerplant and got a job. Loved the Western Slope of Colorado.
Got a better job building power plants - was working out of Ann Arbor Michigan, but hated the crowds and humidity of the midwest, so moved to Fort Collins, to build a plant and stayed for 8 years.
Had a son in 84.

hange in scenery. Was a bigger change than I expected, because my wife chose to leave the relationship.
Began raising my son nearly full time.
We moved to Colorado Springs so he could be closer to his mother - plane fares were killing me!
Spent twelve years in Colorado Springs and single. That's why I didn't get gray hair - yet.
Retired from Colorado Springs as a plant manager and a second marraige (going on 8 yrs now)
The folks I had worked for in Fort Collins called me back to teach them modern plant management. Worked there 3 years and acheived a second retirement a couple of years ago. Bought a little place in the foothills of the Rockies and do a little consulting when I feel like it.
