Gloria Moore:  

As the founder and COO of the faith based, social entrepreneurship organization, Renewglobal, I have extensive experience working with business and community agencies, neighborhood groups, schools, and others to bring the benefits of enhanced opportunities to under-resourced, asset-limited youth and families. My work with the nonprofit shaped my decision to enroll in graduate school in 2008. My desire was to undergird my life experiences with the solid academic preparation graduate study would provide. I transferred from the DBA program at Northcentral University in order to pursue a PhD in Public Policy Administration and Nonprofit leadership at Walden. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University (2010) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Florida State University. I have over ten years of experience in career development with the One Stop Career Centers in Washington State/Florida State Departments of Labor. In addition, my experience includes case management oversight at Seminole Community College and prior service as the executive directors for four non-profit and faith-based agencies. I have served as the training director at Pan American World Services and I have a working knowledge of training and development programs. With over 15 years in social welfare providing community services to low economic individuals and families, I have extensive experience working in the indigenous community development arena. In 2008, I received recognition (no money) as a national finalist out of 1700 national applicants in Avon’s Change Our World Campaign for our nonprofit efforts.
