Grace's Story
Life
I moved from the SF Bay Area to Redmond, WA in 1999 after living in CA all my life. I have successfully raised six beautiful children and I am married to a wonderful guy! They say opposites attract ... he's an aero engineer and designs super jets and I'm the artist! But it works!! I spent the last 20 years supervising and co-managing a wordprocessing dept for 250 attorneys in Oakland ... I am an artist, oil and acrylics being my medium, and have had some successful gallery exhibits in CA. I love gardening, working on my website, my family and friends, making new friends, and I LOVE MY MAN!! Workplace
I supervised and co-managed a wordprocessing department for 250+ attorneys and their staff for nearly 20 years. Lots of deadlines, projects, equipment conversions, etc., yikes! Stress city!!! But the people I worked with made it all A-OK. The department was like an extended family to me. After almost 20 years, it was time to move on when I lost my late husband. I left my high-stress job, sold my home in the Bay Area and moved to Lake Oroville, CA, and led a much more leisurely life on the lake. Later, I met my husband and moved to Redmond, WA to join him. Now that I reside in my home in WA, my heart is also with my family and friends in the Bay Area, several of which have moved to WA!!
