Graham Dukes:  

After graduation I attended Methodist College in Fayetteville, N.C. and returned after a year to Columbus to attend the Medical Center/St. Francis School of Radiologic Technology. Two years later, I was a registered technologist and married to my ideal - Bucky Dukes, a lieutenant from South Carolina whom I had met while he was at Benning and on his way to Viet Nam. He was fulfilling college ROTC obligations with a two year stint with the Army. After he returned from Viet Nam and left the Army, he rejoined Milliken & Co. textiles. We settled in LaGrange and subsequently lived in South Georgia and Spartanburg, S.C. before returning to LaGrange where Bucky retired from Milliken as division controller in 2001. We birthed and raised and thoroughly enjoyed three daughters and a son.
