Life
I have requested to be a part of this network not because I graduated with this class at MTHS but because I feel even though I moved to TN during High School there are many whom I still consider friends and great memories of growing up. I graduated in Tennessee in 88, and went to work at an atomotive dealership for a year. I then aquired a cicil service job with the Knoxville fire dept. I worked there for two years, and decided to return to school. I enrolled at a local college and majored in Religion, and cross-cultural sociology. At the completion of my college I married a long time friend Eva Presley. I went to work for a local company and started a family. I worked for 10 years at this company and was dismissed for corporate downsizing reasons. I currently work as an independant contractor for a local automotive engineering company as a lead person in their reasearch and development department. I am currently working on a product of my own to patent and market. My family consists of Two daughters and one son. Julettashane, Jeffrey, and Shelby from o...Expand for more
ldest to youngest. I had an life changing experience between 19 and 20 wich has guided my life from that time. I committed my life to Jesus Christ. This is why I decided to go back to school. During my college year I was given opportunity to travel for mission work. I have been to 15 countries and 40 or more trips since this time including most central American countries, Sumatra after the Tsunami, and most recently Dominican Republic, and Belize. The most frequented place I have traveled has been Haiti over the last 13 years. The nature of the trips have been humanitarian relief, and evangelism. I currently volunteer as a youth minister for a newly formed church. This has been more challenging than some of the crazy countries I've been to. So I guess in a nut shell I could sum this up with God and cars. The two things that have shaped the years gone by. I have worked vocationaly in the performance automotive field, and served God by trying to help those in need. This is the dry bio stuff just to sum up but it has been a wild ride on both sides. Godspeed to ya.
