Grant's Story

Life Hi Friends, Since leaving NBHS I graduated from college in Ohio and then picked up at Masters Degree in Michigan. I married Joan Young (class of 66 NBHS) 49 years ago and have lived happily ever after, as they say. I am retired as Deputy Director for the State Of Michigan Department of Rehabilitative Services.I am now in the residential home building business, and build one or two homes per year to stay busy. We Retired in 2002 to our home on Torch Lake in Northern Michigan, and Winter at our home in Vero Beach Fla..We hope to build homes in those locations as well. We have two grown boys, Eric is an automotive designer in Detroit, and Jason lives in Vero Beach Fla. He sells commercial real estate.We still visit Ct. often as we have many family still there. It would be nice to hear from anyone who still remembers us.

Everyone has their problems, nobody raked the beach today !
So our granddaughters came for a sleepover, but they wouldn’t go to bed because they weren’t tired. So we tried them in the family room with.us. This is after 5 minutes went by!
Why do I always get the hard jobs around here?
Going to Scotland in two weeks and Joan thinks we need one more suitcase! She says if I don’t want to take a suitcase then we are fine.
