Grant's Story
Currently, I am the assistant director of transportation planning for the Greater Lake Charles Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (IMCAL). Since school I have worked residential construction, attended McNeese State University and Texas A&M University. I received my degree from Texas A&M in 2001. I have been the SWLA Texas A&M Club President for the past 6 years. Served on the Celtic Nations Heritage Foundation, been the Vice President of Education for the Lake Charles Toastmaster Organization and served as a member with many other organizations. ...Expand for more
In recent years, I have worked for the Mayor of Lake Charles and also been the senior planner for Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. I have been married for 13 years and have 1 daughter.
Of course some of you may know me and some may not. I have lived throughout southwest Louisiana, northwest Louisiana and east Texas most of my life. Although I've lived and worked most of my life in southwest Louisiana, I have rodeoed, partied, played and spent the rest of my life in and around Texas.
