Greg's Story
Note: the photo I posted for now is not exactly now but its the only decent one I had.
Who am I? Im not really sure but, this is what I know.
I was born in Highland Park Mi on a hot stormy night at about 4 AM. We lived in Detroit for a while when I was a kid. I had 2 brothers before my mom and dad were divorced. Bob and Mike. My mom re-married to a friend of my Dads then there were more kids. Linda, John, Dionne, Jeff, and Jay. While going to school outside of Detroit at Warren G Harding I got to be friends with a big kid named Rick Mroz who had 3 brothers. My older brother Bob was best friends with a guy named Mark Butler. We later moved to Belleville in about 1974. I quickly learned that Rick Mroz was living across the street from us and Mark Butler was living a couple blocks away in the Haggerty Sub. came good friends with Rick Schubert who lived next door and others: Ron Tomcheff and the Tomcheff family, Mark Rogers, Rusty Burlett and the felix band. The Doyle brothers across the street, Bruce, Brian, and Brendon, Jerry Schubert, Bill Hedge and others. The Mroz family had cousins Bob and Karen Brandon. Tom Mroz later became my brother in law when He married my sister Linda. Rick Schubert Married Karen Brandon who is the Mroz's cousin.
And to make a short story long, moved down south with Rick Schubert and Bob Brandon and familys to work in the gulf and I somehow became a small ship captain. I lived down there for years dodgin storms and ended up moving back to MI after 30 years.
I now live in the same Haggerty sub I grew up in, and we all still stay in touch. My brother Bob left us in the 80's in a swimming pool accident.
