Greg's Story
Life
My job is as a Paraprofessional in special education at a local high school. We help students transition from a school environment to life after school. We develop self-awareness, job skills, personal skills, life skills, and just about anything one would need for living more independently. It's a blast! My hobbies/activities all tend to revolve around being active and outdoors. My favorite activity is still kayaking on whatever river happens to be nearby. In 1995, I took up playing hockey. What fun! I was very lucky to have a bunch of friends who took up the sport at the same time. We were terrible, but got better. In 2005, we traveled to New Brunswick, Canada to play in the World Pond Hockey Championships. We did ok. A bunch of 30-50 year olds huffing and puffing on the ice. What a blast! I also enjoy backpacking in Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.
