Greg's Story
Since high school, I served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and retired in 2003. I have no regrets about doing this right after graduation, as it provided me with a chance to see places I never would have been able to see, and to do things that some people only dream about ( how about learning to ski in the Alps). I can think of no better way to help someone to mature and to develop such a bond with one's country. Yes, we do live in the greatest country on Earth. If you don't believe me, I invite you to go to any of the 23 countries I have been to, or any others you may choose, and you can see the way some people have to live.
I moved to Georgia after retirement and have worked in a medium security prison and at a car dealership till about Oct 08, when I stepped aside to save another guys job. I have no regrets for this, as I know that this wasn't what I am supposed to be doing with my life. But, I have now been unemployed for 15 months. I never would have thought that it would take me that long to find a new job.

edge in life, with people, and about many things since graduation. In work I have garnered an extensive amount of experience in administration, operations, logistics, planning, and a great deal of supervision from 5 to 300 people. In school, I have gotten a Masters degree in Counseling and Personal Services from the University of Maryland and am working on my dissertation to get a PhD in Educational Psychology. So, who knows, perhaps in a few months I will be Dr. Greg.
For the future, I would like to find a special woman to settle down with, and live out the rest of my life in a manner that is much more pleasant and love filled than I've experienced in the past. I want to do some more traveling and do some things that some people would question as being sane or not. Lastly, I would like to find a job that will bring self gratification, allows me to utilize the skills and knowledge that I have gained, and one that will allow me to make my mark on the world. I guess you could say, I'd like to achieve self actualization. Now there's a Psychology term for you!
