Where to begin??? Oh yes....after High School!!! Well I tried to do the college thing. I went to SHSU (that was the first mistake..."party school"), and moved into a dorm that was right across the street from the most popular club in Huntsville (that was the second mistake). I was actually too young to get into the clubs at the time, but hey....that's what friends who know how to make fake ID's are for!!! ;-) I met some great people, but college just really wasn't where I wanted to be. I was there when the "Old Main" building burned down. I have a really cool photo that one of my friends took that night. So, back to the old neighborhood I came...now it was time to get a job!! I lucked out and got on with HL&P (as Steve Carter's dad would call it...Houston Looting and Plunder). I put my "extensive" knowledge of drafting (thank you Mr. O and Mr. D) to use and worked in the Engineering Dept as a Map Technician. That was a good place to get my foot in the door, but after 1 1/2 years it was time to go. I transferred into the Energy Production group (generating plants), and have been there since...27+ years.
