Greg's Story
Life
Graduated from Colo. School of Mines in Metallurgical Engineering. Began my career in Arizona, then New Mexico and finally Tennessee where I decided to stay. I married a local girl and we have two children, one in and out of college and one still in high school. I retired in 2000, but was called back last year to help reopen the zinc mines on a consulting basis. I previously managed the...Expand for more
milling and surface operations. I have now retired again, earlier this year. I do a lot of volunteer work, especially for the youth soccer organization where I am coaching my 52nd team, referee and take care of the fields - sort of a Forrest Gump thing. Also enjoy woodworking and stained glass. I have crafted windows for several churches so I guess this could be considered more than a hobby.
