Personal and Post Military. i graduated from the citadel in 1969. i married an army brat in 1970. i left the army after my father was killed in a farm accident in 1973 and moved to iowa to farm the family farm. i raised corn and soybeans, hogs, lambs and chickens for seven years. we also had two children, carrie kathleen born in 1976 and joseph gregory born in 1978. i quit farming in 1980 and entered law school at stetson law school in gulfport, florida. i obtain...Expand for more
ed a degree and a divorce and became an assistant state attorney and prosecuted criminal cases for three years. in 1986 i went into private practice and married janet hunter-olney who had two children of her own. jan graduated from law school just before we married and she has been a career prosecutor since. currently she is a division director supervising ten prosecutors and in charge of all juvenile prosecutions in pinellas county. we raised all four kids together and they are all doing fine. we live in a nice neighborhood and our two grandchildren live just seven houses away. we have travelled extensively over the years and hope to continue to do so. i remember columbus high fondly and enjoyed the two years we all spent together there. my sister, donna, married john passmore and they have had a fabulous life and have four beautiful children and two grandchildren as well.
