Greg's Story
Life
For what it's worth...and if anyone cares, here goes.
After Behrman, I went on to college with less then stellar success, since I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do. Well, as fate would have it, a Naval Aviation recruiting team visited campus one day and I saw the light. After numerous tests, I was selected for flight training with the Coast Guard and went on to six years of active duty. After flight training I went to Mobile, AL, with a unit that supported polar operations and made two extended deployments to the Antarctic. You can believe that was a far cry from New Orleans! I was then stationed in Detroit, MI, where I flew search and rescue, law enforcement and a variety of other missions.
After active duty, I remained in the reserves and finished college with BS in Chemistry of all things (Mr. Weyer would be amused). While never the chemist type, I went on to a career in medical equipement sales and sales management, selling major hospital and surgical equipment.

ince. I do return occasionally to see family though. I got the chance to return for our fortieth HS reunion and really enjoyed seeing old (as in long ago, not age) friends. I was specially glad I had the chance since Katrina hit only a couple of months later.
I have lived in the Atlanta area since 1990. I have since retired from the Coast Guard Reserve and still work in the medical equipment field. It doesn't seem possible that Behrman was 42 years ago...how time flies when we're having fun! Or something like that.

I hope this little bio finds all who venture to look in good health and spirits. Leave me a note if you care to.

P.S. 2016 Update:
I retired last year, and have enjoyed the transition. I have become active in a senior golf league and have spent time on many projects around the home, including major landscape renovations. Other house building projects are in the works for the next number of months.
Sept. 2023 Update
After 32 years I've moved from my Lawrenceville, GA home for the hotter Parrish, FL area.
Hope all is well classmates.
