Greg's Story
NY Half Hollow Hills HS class of 81 but moved to Indiana in Dec '79 Highland HS Grad... Life:
Hmmm what to say, I have retired after 21 years in the Navy and even though I have never been on a ship I have traveled the world.... I currently work on the west side of Indy for Homeland security... I have been divorced since 1997 and have custody of my son (X wife in Mississippi - she is missing out)
School
Crushes in HS, geeeeeze , I had a few and most did not know... Shelley Vest, Shelley Fisher, Vonda Black, Jana Orr, Kelly Palmer and a whole lot more, all those Indiana girls made this New York'ers head spin..
Teachers who inspired, well lets see I liked "Bucky" Bookhart and Miss Miller (eng)... those are the two who pop into my head...
If I could do it all again,,,, Hmmm, I guess I would have been more outgoing :) and hoped som...Expand for more

Workplace
Working for the government... Homeland security / Transportation Security Administration. Sounds interesting but most of the time it is "just a job" .
Military
Graduated HS in 1981, joined the Navy in 1982, looked at the other branches but the Navy guaranteed the job I wanted (construction heavy equipment operator - Seabee) spent 21 years traveling the world (never on a ship) but I have been to Guam, Sicily, Okinawa Japan (5 times), Cuba (twice), Puerto Rico (3 times), and Korea... I did time in the desert for the first Desert Shield/ Desert Storm drilling for water and building tent cities for us military people (all branches). Retired after 21years and I am now back in Indiana wishing I was still playing world traveler... still employed working for the Gov. plus drawing a military retirement
