Greg's Story

7/2006 Graduated in '82, went to work for Norwest, worked there for 10 years as a Sn. Network Consultant (computer networking). Left for an equity position in "DCC", later changed the name to Perigee, VP, very high end networking company, sold company to Inacom, there for two out of my three year contract, cashed out and ran! Worked for two other smaller networking companies, about a year a piece. Done working, retired at 36. Lived on the Rum River in Andover, have one beautiful little seven year old daughter, and a lake home 80 miles north of Andover. In 2005, sold river estate, one year later got divorced and moved to my lake home permanently. Have lived here alone for three plus years now and love it! Close enough to the cities but still "up north." I live just west of Onamia, MN and about 16 miles from Grand Casino Mille Lacs. One month after my daughter was born (in 2003) I wa...Expand for more
s diagnosed with MS at the Mayo (at 38 years old.) As of now, 2009, I have had it for 16 years (I had already had it for 10 years when diagnosed.) I'm one of the lucky ones I guess, I have a problem with my right foot but that's it! I give myself shots three times a week that ensures the disease doesn't get any worse. Very little effect on my life, and none on my relationships or dating. Life is good! 2/2012 My daughter is growing up so fast! Third grade already and going to be nine at the end of this month. She is quite the beautiful little smarty pants. Don't even know what level she's up to now, but half way through first grade she was already reading at a sixth grade level. I'm one proud daddy! Good looking and smart, hmmmmm, yep, taking after daddy! She's into soccer, swimming, crafts and reading, lots of reading! And then there's me. Is life still so good?
