Greg's Story
Life
After high school, I went to Oklahoma City University where I earned a degree in Religion. I spent 4 years in McAlester as a youth minister. I married Hadley Kirkpatrick while there. In 1992, we moved to Ft. Worth to attend Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University. After graduating in 1995, we moved to Snyder,OK to pastor at First United Methodist Church. n 2004 as we conitnue to pastor in the United Methodist Church. In 2004, I had my first book, Lectionary Tales for the Pulpit (Cycle A), published. In 2005 and then 2006 I published two more books of the same title (Cycle B and Cycle C). These books contain sermon illustrations, many of which are personal experiences, but are also used as devotionals. In 2007, I published my fourth book, Experiencing Easter, which contians sermons. Hadley tells me I'm through publishing, but we'll see!
