Greg's Story

My wife, Barbara and I currently enjoy a quiet, simple life in Port Orchard. I worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and retired in June 2012. Barbara retired from the Attorney Generals office in downtown Seattle. I have two kids, Adam and Elise, and two grandsons, Alec and Devin. Barbara has a son, Jason. ortic valve with a mechanical valve. I have recovered quite well. Update: in 2014 I had to do it again! The first one started to come unstitched. Another mechanical valve. So far so good. Update: Jan. 4th 2018 yet another open heart surgery! 3rd aortic valve. The 2nd mechanical valve started to come unstitched also. This one is a bio-valve. Hopefully it will last longer.
