Greg's Story
After Graduating from Borah in 1969 I attended Boise State where I played football and received a Business Management Degree in 1974. While at Boise State I married my wife Patty and had the opportunity of playing in the Camellia Bowl in 1971 which was Boise States first nationally Televised Football game.We had 6 Borah high graduates starting for the game, Ted Buck LT 69,Dave Stepp LG 67, Brent McIver RG 68, Greg Phillips RT 69, Ken Johnson FB 70,Don Hutt WR 70. We would have had 7 starters if my Twin Brother Jeff had not injured his knee and ended his playing days that year.
After Graduation I took a sales rep job with a small Pharmaceutical company called Eaton Laboratories which became - Norwich Eaton Pharmaceut...Expand for more
icals â which became P & G Pharmaceuticals. I spent 11 years as a Sales rep in Idaho, 1 year as a Hospital Rep covering the Teaching Hospitals in WA & Oregon before I accepted the District Manager role out of Seattle where I manages 10- 15 sales reps covering 3 to 5 states for the rest of my carrier. I retired after 35 years. when P&G decided to get out of the drug business, I would have worked a few more years but was fortunate to spend 35 years with one company.
Patty and I had 2 children Tricia and Johnny who have produced 3 wonderful Grand children. Patty and I decided to relocated back to Idaho Jan 2013 and are living in Star up in the foothills backing up to cornfields and BLM land. It is good to be back!!
