Greg and Adelle's Story
I worked in the oil field for a couple years after high school. Not my dream job. Went to work for Phillips for about ten years, also not my dream job. I have run my own business for about twenty-five years now. I contract to Whirlpool Corp, as a service Tech. I do warranty repairs on all Whirlpool appliances. My territory covers the Texas, and Oklahoma panhandles, and eastern New Mexico. This is my dream job,and I love it. Whirlpool is a great company to work for.
I work four days a week, and on my days off,I restore old pickup trucks, hot rods of course. I have a 1956 Ford that is going to be my twelve year old grandsons. He built a three hundred sixty horse motor for it. I also have a 1971 Chevy pickup with a five hundred horse motor, that he and I built. We go to a bunc...Expand for more
h of car shows, and have a blast.
I have been married to a wonderful woman for seventeen years. She is a contract administrator for Chevron Phillips. We live in the big town of Stinnett. I have one daughter,a son-in law, and two grandsons. One six, and one twelve. They live in Stinnett also.My wife has a son who has two kids, a boy, and a girl. They live in California.
I have only kept up with a few classmates, most who still live around here. Jon Kitchens, and I are still very good friends. His son Shane, and I are also close. Two of the best friends I've ever had. Bobby Kenimer and I are good friends, also a great guy. We all like, and build old cars.
I would like to hear from anyone that was friendly in school. If you were mean to me don't bother, I haven't forgotten!
