Gregory's Story
after graduation I worked on a king crab boat in Kodiak, Alaska, where the draft nearly caught up to me. I left Kodiak and returned to Seattle and for a while worked on Seattle's first late-night AM talk show, KIOR's Party Line. I joinrd the Air Force and for the next 24 years was a meteorologist: Vietnam 69, Tokyo to-72, Korea 73, Edwards Flight Test Center 74-75, Korea 75-78, Andrews AFB for Air Force One support 78-84, Ft Lewis and two years support with Special Forces including support for them in Thailand 84-88, Korea 89, ...Expand for more

I taught science for a private school in Lacey for 5th thru 8th grade, 95-97 and then worked as a library materials specialist at the University of Puget Sound 98-03
Now, I am a TSA agent at SeaTac Airport, ten years and going.
When I returned to the Northwest in 84 I caught up with what had been happening in the hydroplane racing realm, the sport I grew up in, and became a charter member of the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum. I have written several articles for the museum on the earlydays of the sport
