Gregory's Story
Since April of 2007, I have been living in Rock Hill, SC. I retired from Richmond Public Schools in March of 2005. My son, Mark has three children (girls).
My current age is 56. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be in a wheelchair (lol). I was so completely wrong. Life is really just beginning.
My first real job was at Armstrong High School, where I got paid $9,000 to $10,000. What I remember most about it is the number of lives that have made me a better person over the years.
One of the fun...Expand for more
times at JFK was my senior year during the 5th sixth weeks when I decided that I wanted to play hooky, not only did I skip school for a day. I skipped school for the entire week. On that last day (Friday), I was headed out the side door facing the stadium when I was seen by my mathematics teacher, Mrs. Williams. She was a tough cookie, when we got our report cards, she had given me an "F" the choices I had made. I should have let one or two days satisfy my curiosity but I had to take five. Thank God I still graduated!
