Gregory's Story
After graduating from high school,I attended Midwestern State University and received 2 degrees ,a B.S.(yes I've heard the joke a million times lol)and an Associates degree in radiologic technology. During my fist stent at Midwestern I met the woman of my dreams..Dr. Pamela Sue Vanhemert-Collier(a veterinarian)We are still and always will be die-hard Indian fans..we don't do the mustang thing. Anyway,after we left midwestern I went to Dallas to do my clinicals and she went to Texas A&M to get DVM degree. And yes we are die hard Aggie fans.We were married January 2,1988(Texas A&M vs Notre Dame..cottonbowl) Thats the easiest way to remember aniversaries guys is to tie them to a football event! So we were married after I got my first job in Houston as a Cat Scan technologist. Sue had 2 years left of Vet school. Every friday night for 2 years I would drive to...Expand for more
college station and spend the weekend with Sue..unless she was studying,then I would stay home and hang out with the cat. Sue eventually graduated with honors(can you tell I;m proud of her?)And she works part time at two local clinics in this area(spring,Texas).And since starting out as a c.t. tech at Houston North West Med.Center I am now MRI supervisor now. I also work part time at M.D>Anderson Cancer Clinic in the evenings doning cat scan..didn't want to lose my skills and I work every other weekend at 2920 open MRI..I guess you could say I'm a work-a-holic,but I enjoy what I do. We have two wonderful kids that I;m very proud of Austin 13 and Sara 8.Guess who has daddy wrapped around her little finger. So thats it in a nut shell..if any of you have any fond memories of high school drop me a line.
