Gregory's Story
Greg spent 22 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a colonel in September, 2005 after a final assignment as Chief of the Studies, Analysis, and Gaming Division in the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. Colonel Cook entered the Air Force after graduating from the University of Idaho with a commission from Air Force ROTC in 1983. A command pilot with over 3700 hours in the C-5, KC-135, C-21 and trainer aircraft, he commanded an Operations Support Squadron, an Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron and an Air Mobility Operations Group. Colonel Cook is a veteran of Operation JUST CAUSE in Panama, and Operations NORTHERN WATCH, DESERT SHIELD, DESERT STORM and IRAQI FREEDOM in the Middle East, as well as numerous humanitarian relief efforts and mobility operations around the world.

In 2007, Greg founded Serendipity Hospitality in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, acting as its Chief Executive Officer. Operating from the 11th Street Marina next to Sanders Beach and Tubbs Hill, Serendipity offered private parties, special events, cruises and vacation rentals in Coeur dÿAlene on board a 92-foot long luxury houseboat yacht named Serendipity, plus scenic air tours over North Idaho and a specialty gift shop. Greg closed the business in 2010 so he could concentrate more on his passions of writing,speaking and human development.
Greg is now pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.
