Gregory's Story

I'm basically a treeman. Arboriculture , community forestry, and environmental education are my passions. I was a tree climber until the age of 40. Then got involved the Girl Scout organiization New Leaf program. My daughter and I are close. My two boys were always involed with sports through college. A lot of road trips with my scotty Angus. We traveled up and down the East Coast to watch basketball and vollyball. My oldest son gave us our first grandchild. My second son is getting married in 2011. My daughter is going away to finish her education, I have been blessed with a wonderful life. I retire from my civil service july 2011. My company New World Tree will continue. I an a NJ Certified Tree Expert #231, from the DEP, The state awarded me with The Joyce Kilmer award in 2008. I have been involed with THe NJ Shade Tree Federation for many years, ans am a past president. .After retirement, the plan is to go back to school to study oceanography. Which I was into in Flotida, during my early college years. We have a shore house in Surf City Long Beach Island, and love to work get together with family there. We also spend time at the famiy house in Cavindish, Vermont . I got very involed with a group of residents and stopped the opening of a granite quarry. Learning Trre Project Wild, Project Wet and the Adubon society. Iam a facilitator for these programs. Any way my involment with the Idea that trees are the answer to alot of the earths problems iis my mantra..I still feel a close connection to New Providence High school and looking forward to this Thanksgiving day footballl game and the honering of Coach Bottone, We have been fortunite over the last year with traveling.Each day I try to give It my all. Well I wish all the best now and in the future. Love to all Well we are into May now and my heart goes out to all the midwest storm victims. the best to you and yours--------Well I'm retired as of August 1. Since I last visited these pages I went through cervical spine surgery all went well thank God, and we took a river a river boat up the Rhine river from Swtzerland to Amterdam. Took nine days, then flew to London to a Leon Russell concert at Caregan Hall by Hyde Park Four hot days during Wimbleton. Really quite a city This is the fourth day off and I manage to keep busy and enjoy my work. This is a good life. New Providence is a big part of it I enjoyed the people I met and loved. The Best to you and yours Peace and Love-------------------2013 back to Hawaii,taking the family. 2014 really a great life. New Orleans and Olympic National Park and forest in Oct .Two Grand children.
