Gregory's Story
I attended Groveton High School from 1961 to 1962. As a freshman I was part of the development band and in the spring I participated in the track team, running the mile. As a sophomore I was accepted into the main band and enjoyed being part of all its activities.
In February of 1962 my father, who was career Navy, was assigned to MAAG in Tokyo Japan. I attended Narimasu High School in Grant Heights until 1964 when my father retired. At Narimasu I was part of the band (trumpet) and joined the tennis team. Woody Grubb and I were tough to beat in doubles.

year's senior class.
My freshman year of college I attended the American College of Switzerland in Leysin where I learned to ski. Because this college was only for the first two years, I applied for and was accepted to the University of Virginia conditional on competing a science which the American College lacked. I attended U Va until until January 1967 when I left due to health reasons. I returned in 1972 and graduated in 1973.
Since 1973 I have been in the Wilmington, Delaware area working first as a computer operator for Avon Products and then shifting to software programming which I have been doing ever since. I have been married for 45 years; I have two sons and two grandchildren.
